The Township also provides funding for Senior Services Associates office in Aurora. Child and Family Connections 4 (Early Intervention covering Kane and Kendall counties) is a program to identify developmental delays in children 0-3. Eligibility is determined by either auto-eligible medical diagnosis confirmed by physician script or a 30% or greater delay in any area of development (speech/language, physical (gross and fine motor), social-emotional, adaptive, cognitive) as determined by initial evaluations using a standardized assessment tool. Ongoing therapy services for children who qualify may include developmental, physical, speech, occupational, and behavior therapies. The Early Intervention program is open to all eligible children birth-three years of age regardless of income or insurance status. To refer, please call 630-879-2277.
